Featured Member Flier

Our latest model aircraft solo flight was performed by 11 year old Tucker Cronin of Lake Placid.  He is shown with Club President Terry Brockway, Tucker's flight instructor.  Tucker was able to learn the art of radio control flying within a few days of instruction.  He is an intellligent, polite young fellow who the Club is proud to have as a junior member.  We welcome all mature youngsters and older people who would like to learn the art of radio control flying.

The Club

The Highlands Radio Control Club is a group of radio control flyers  located in Sebring, in the heart of central Florida, who share an interest in building and flying radio controlled model aircraft of all types including sport, scale, gliders, electric and helicopters.  Our seasoned pilots provide assistance and instruction in aviation and piloting to newcomers to the hobby.

The Flying Field

The Highlands Radio Control Club pilots fly at our club field, located near Sebring, Florida.

Guests are encouraged to drop by and meet with the club members and watch the fun and flying.  The busiest flying time is in the mornings, especially during the winter.
